Funny Headlines

As I waited in the doctor’s office the other day, I flipped through a Reader’s Digest looking for all the humorous stories.  At the end of one of the articles, they filled in the rest of the page with some funny headlines that have appeared in newspapers and magazines.  Here are two of my favorites:

“Homeless Face Housing Shortage” (from the Morning Sentinel in Waterville, Maine)

“Slain Pastor’s Wife Says Little in Court” (from the AP)

Imagine my delight when a few pages later, one of Reader’s Digest’s own headlines caused me to double take:

“Replacement Parts for Women”
